Can't help but love those little finches!

I could spend hours watching these sweet birds.

I bet you thought, "Oh, look at Rocky."

But, no this is not Rocky but Charlie who lives next door.

I absolutely LOVE orange tabby cats.

Why Buy New?

Thrift shops are the greatest.This darling salad/dessert plate is so pretty.

I just love it.

The holly around the edge and the bird

with greenery and pincones

in the center just make me smile.

The best part is that I purchased it in a Hospice thrift shop

in Grass Valley for $1.50!

from my friend Stacy at Golden Bird Knits.

Can you find Rocky in this picture?I love the orange colors in this blanket.

It kind of matches Rocky's fur.

I have know Sioux for a long time.

We have been friends for over fifty years!

We went to high school together.
She lives in Southern California.

She was in SF visiting family so we had a fun-filled day together.

where My Guy and I live in San Francisco called Potrero Hill.

It is also called Goat Hill.

Snow...oh, goodie~SNOW.

Oh, my...what happened last night?Soooo~exciting!

"Beautiful" is the word that comes to mind when I see snow.

I "raked" our driveway clean of snow.

Our front yard.

Backyard with about seven inches of snow.

Liquid Amber tree branches heavy with snow.

The birds were out in full-force this morning.

On Thanksgiving Day my daughter and I sat

on that bench for a chat.

So much snow. I love it!

Makes me smile.

Fun to see my bird houses in the snow.

The apricot tree.

Oh, there is that sweet wooden bench again.

No birds bathing in this weather.

It is hard to see but there is a bird on the

back side of the suet holder.
