The two California Gold Country towns of
Grass Valley and Nevada are like going back in time...
especially at Christmas time.
Grass Valley has Cornish Christmas.
The downtown streets are closed and vendors set-up shop.
Young children can be seen playing musical instruments.
Nevada City has it's Victorian Christmas.
Of course, Santa Claus is at both events
which are held on different nights for
the month of December.
It is always very cold
so everyone is all
bundled up.
Lots of people of all ages enjoy the events.
Fun entertainment.
A highlight of the events are the roasted chestnuts.
So so yummy-good.
I love listening to the Christmas carol singing.
Wishing you festive and fun days during this
special Holiday Season.
