Decorated Scolloped Edge Box

I had so much fun decorating this box.
Some of my favorite things are on it~
birds, flowers, music, sweet locket
along with the word Princess.

Oh and by the way, the little locket actually opens!

The box is 6" x 6" x 2" and made of light brown cardboard.
I think the scolloped edges are perfect.
I added pink velvet ribbon along
the edge for added detail.

HAPPY CRAFTING!

The scalloped box is very cute, Dogwood. I love that vintage-looking image of the swallows. The locket is a great idea! Does it have a picture inside?

I bought my canvas for our project yesterday. Now to figure out what to do ...

Hope you're having a wonderful Sunday! I've been curled up in bed all morning, reading, writing and sipping tea. Oh yes, and nibbling on Halloween candy. Starburst and tea, yum.

PS. Did I tell you I finally got wireless Internet access in my apartment?

You did a wonderful job on your scalloped edge box... it's so pretty and peaceful looking... I have a few cigar boxes set aside that I keep thinking I'll get around to altering one day... hopefully soon!
Have a beautiful day...

That is the cutest doggone little box I have ever seen! Great job! The locket is a perfect addition. It would make a great gift, you could put a picture of the recipient of the gift or a grandchild... perfect! Have a blessed evening!!!!!

Well, sugar, thanks for stopping by and commenting. We lived in Hayward for many years before moving here. Daughter still lives there. We also have friends who lived in Grass Valley. Small world, chick! Nice to meet you again...
