The White Stuff=SNOW!
This is one of my daughter's sweet whimiscal birdhouses.
She is a potter and made it in her studio in Truckee CA.
Isn't it cute sitting on top of that wooden post.
This picture of "The Snow" was taken at my daughter's house.
They have gotten tons of snow
from the last storm.
More is expected.
They have about two feet of
new snow at their house.
The ski resorts at the higher elevations
have received much more snow.
Great news for our snow pack
and water shortage in California.

Love the bird house, so quaint and very special. We've had lots of snow too, but no way as much as that.

When I was growing up, my family had a cabin at Donner Lake (next door to Truckee for those non-Californians), so I have fond memories of the town. It's nice to read about folks enjoying the snow - rather than those of us on the East Coast who snarl at the snow due to all it's inconveniences!
Loving the snow! We have been blessed with another 14+" since the picture of our deck!
The ski areas are playing catch up with over 5+ feet of new snow in the past few days at the higher elevations!
