Colorful House in our San Francisco Neighborhood

I adore the paint job on this beautiful Victorian house.
The bright red doors make me smile.

A closer look at the lovely scolloped shingles
and the dome window.
Arn't those two tiny side windows sweet!

The blue trim sure does match that wonderful blue sky.

~SURPRISE~
How about that detail.

Clown around a little today
and have a fun day.

I too love the paint jobs of some of the old Victorians in SF! Agree with Tami, the clown is freaky.

Interesting house. It's fun to check out the unusal paint jobs in SF. That clown though ... yikes. Not for me. Maybe they put it up there to ward off evil (or invite it in). I had a scary clown picture in my bedroom growing up that I wasn't allowed to take down, and it freaked me out for years.

Well, things were going pretty good with this house. Bright green, blue like the sky, a little yellow and then A CLOWN? :) Oh what a funny addition to this house! Thanks for the giggle:)

You're such a fun person and the things you photograph are such fun too. Love the bright house and clown against the blue sky dropback.

Most excellent! Love the color! Love the trim! And the clowny surprise!! I think every room in a home should have one touch of whimsy but never thought about on the outside!! Well, I do have a pink flamingo guarding the greenhouse, does that count?
