Inspiration from the Quilt and Craft Festival

Guess who went to the Quilt and Craft Festival. I went with my good friend, Stacy from Golden Bird Knits.
We had lots of fun and saw lots of incredible creations.
~Oh, my~
After going to the Festival, we took a nice walk in the
area when Stacy's grandmother used to live.
Sweet memory lane.
I fell in love with a "Spirit Doll" that a lady had made.
I had to have one.
So, that is what I am sewing today.

I have no idea how she will turn out
since I do not have a pattern.

She is going to be my "Whisper Doll."
She does not have a name yet.
Any suggestions.
The finished doll will be posted on my blog tomorrow!
A closer look at this beautiful quilt.
I am in love with it.
Have a sweet day.

Wish I had been there with you and Stacy! That would have been so much fun. Do you have more photos to share?

Whisper doll... that sounds neat. There must be a story behind that idea. Looking forward to seeing yours!

I love quilts and just exactly WHY wasn't I invited:) Love it that you two special friends got to spend time together. I will help name that sweet doll, but I will have to see her first. Hugs and Sunday blessings!

I love the quilt. What a great day you and Stacy must have had and a lovely walk too. I recommend "Wilona, the Whisper Doll". The name means resolute guardian. I can't wait to see her finished. :-)

It was fun seeing the quilt show with you yesterday and taking a walk down memory lane. I can't wait to see your whisper doll! How about Willow the Whisperer. Hope you're having fun crafting her together today.

You look cute in those pics. Actually, you look cute in the pics I took on my camera, too. I'll have to get them to you.
