Paint Your Own Pottery Class in San Francisco

PAINT CAMP
The camp Teresa and I went to was sponsored by
one of the vendors Teresa uses for her
Paint Your Own Pottery studio.
I did this bowl.
Technique~paint over the pattern on a paper napkin.
Place the painted napkin on the ceramic plate paint side down .
Add a little embellishment.
Done by Teresa.
Technique~this was done using a transfer pattern.

Me.
Technique~transfer pattern with brush stroke painting.
This one and the one above are sweet ring holders.

Dragonfly~Dogwood.
Butterfly~Teresa.
Technique~stamping and transfer pattern.

The wise owl.
I did this.
Technique~too many steps to explain!

Great one for summer which is just around the corner!
I love the way the yellow lemons pop out and dazzle.

Isn't Teresa's bowl beautiful.
I love the colors and bunches of flowers.
Technique~painted paper napkin.
The camp was two days of fun.
A great group of Paint Your Own Pottery owners.
We learned SO much!
Have a lovely day.
Cheers to you!

What fun! I love the lemon bowl the best, but they're all beautiful!

One year for Easter, my husband bought my daughter and me gift certificates to a paint-your-own pottery place. It was very cool, even though I have no talent for painting.

Looks like you really had fun and made some great pieces. My favorite(s) are the owl and the lemon dish. Always so awesome to learn new techniques. Happy wet Sunday...

I love your creations, and Teresa's too, especially your first bowl and those two with stamps and transfers. They are all so pretty. What a fun camp that must have been.

They are all beautiful! But that owl...wow!! A work of art!

Tell Rocky Hi from Edward. I think Edward would like Rocky to be here right now so they could play! He's meowing all over the house! Think I will sign off blogging and go play with him!

Have a great week!

These are so lovely! How wonderful to have handmade items in your home. I especially love the napkin transfer and the ring holder!

Yes, between Rocky and Baby we will just have to be happy with faux flowers. They've come a long way from the plastic fake flowers of the 60's and 70's, thank goodness!

Have a great week! ... Donna

I am browsing the internet for ideas to paint on ceramics, these are beautiful.
The dragonfly vase - I have tried stamps but they didn't work great, what kind of stamps and tranfers are these?
