Pink Friday~Honoring My Daughter

My daughter, Teresa, lives in the Sierra Mountains
in the historic town of Truckee, California.
This is her summer garden.
I think it is lovely.

Shasta daisies line the edge of her lawn.

Lush green.

Another view of her garden.
Notice the snow pole in the middle of the daisies.
Yes, they get lots~LOTS~ of snow!

This is Teresa. Isn't she lovely. I love her so much!
She adores being out-of-doors gardening, cycling, skiing, hiking, playing tennis
but mostly playing and walking with her golden retrievers.
Teresa is a RN in the ER at the Truckee Hospital.
She has her own art studio and shop.

This is a picture of Beau and Tanner both rescue dogs.
Sadly Tanner developed a fast growing
cancer and died on Wednesday.
He will truly be so missed. He was a big sweetie.

Sweet Tanner Boy.

Delly and Oscar with Tanner.
Oscar and Tanner were best friends.

Dear Teresa~I know you are feeling a big emptyness for the loss of your dear Tanner.
Keep those sweet memories of him close to you loving heart. Hugs, Mom

Your post brought tears to my eyes. I am so sorry about Tanner, what a handsome fellow he was. It is hard to lose a pet. Teresa is so creative and talented. I love her pottery, and that garden is gorgeous. You are a sweet mom and that was a beautiful way of honoring your daughter.

What a sweet post! Your daughter is lovely - and so is her garden.

So sad about Tanner. I love dogs and it just breaks my heart to hear about someone losing their pet! I still miss my little Bosun who died 4 years ago!

Tanner looked like a big sweetie. That is so sad, I love dogs so much, I don't like for bad things to happen to them. I'm glad he found a happy home to live out his days. Twyla
